FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a UUID?
A Universally Unique Identifier is a 128-bit value written as 8-4-4-4-12 hex digits, for example 123e4567-e89b-12d3-a456-426614174000.
What are UUID versions?
Version 1 is time-based, v3/v5 are name-based (MD5/SHA-1), and v4 is random. The validator detects which version a UUID uses.
Can it validate multiple UUIDs?
Yes — paste several UUIDs, one per line, and each is checked independently.
